Job Title: Senior Manager / Director PR
Location: Delhi
Job Overview:
We are looking for a senior PR and communications leader who can strategically build reputation,
credibility, and influence. This role goes far beyond media relations—it requires deep understanding of the
ecosystem, strong relationships within the system, and the ability to shape narratives that position the
organisation as a serious, credible, long-term player.
The role will own PR strategy, story angles, event representation, and visibility across the right
platforms—media, policy-adjacent forums, industry events, and awards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic PR & Narrative Building
• Develop and own the long-term PR and reputation strategy
• Identify compelling, credible story angles aligned with business, policy, and industry narratives
• Shape messaging that positions the organisation as a trusted, high-impact leader—not a loud
brand
Media & System Relationships
• Leverage solid relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, and ecosystem stakeholders
• Navigate the “system” effectively—industry bodies, policy-linked forums, trade publications, and
influence networks
• Secure meaningful coverage in the right publications, not just volume-driven visibility
Event, Awards & Platform Strategy
• Identify and strategically participate in relevant industry events, forums, and conferences
• Evaluate and pursue awards that strengthen credibility and long-term reputation
• Represent the organisation at select events, panels, and closed-door forums when required
Leadership Visibility & Thought Leadership
• Build leadership profiles through interviews, op-eds, panel opportunities, and speaking
engagements
• Translate business milestones and industry insights into credible thought leadership
• Advise leadership on positioning, messaging, and public presence
Agency & Execution Oversight
• Manage PR agencies and partners, setting explicit direction and standards
• Review and guide press materials, announcements, and responses
• Ensure consistency, credibility, and strategic alignment across all communications
Crisis & Sensitive Communication (as needed)
• Act as a trusted advisor during sensitive or high-stakes situations
• Manage responses with clarity, discretion, and strategic judgment
Requirements
• 10–15 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or public affairs
• Strong, demonstrable relationships within media, industry, and institutional ecosystems
• Experience working with infrastructure, energy, policy-adjacent, or B2B-heavy sectors preferred
• Proven track record of placing stories strategically, not opportunistically
• Comfortable representing the organisation at senior forums and events
