Job Summary

URC Construction Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to join our Head Office in Erode. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing project billing, subcontractor bills, client bills, and quantity verification while ensuring timely submission and compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process client bills and subcontractor bills based on work progress.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and work executed as per approved drawings and BOQ.
- Coordinate with project teams for work completion details and billing documentation.
- Prepare RA Bills, final bills, and variation/extra item statements.
- Review contracts and ensure billing is in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Track billing status, payment receipts, and outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile quantities and support project teams in resolving billing-related issues.
- Maintain billing records, documentation, and reports for management review.
- Coordinate with the Planning, QS, Procurement, Finance,



and Project teams for smooth billing operations.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports and project cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of project billing, quantity verification, and BOQ.
- Experience in RA Bills, Final Bills, and Subcontractor Billing.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and billing procedures.
- Good understanding of quantity estimation and measurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent will be an advantage).
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 4–7 years of experience in billing within the construction industry.
- Building construction industry experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial building projects.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and project sites.
- Willing to work from the Head Office, Erode.
