Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Front-End Developer to design, develop, and enhance user-centric interfaces on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Service Portal, UI Builder, Employee Center, custom widgets, and up-to-date web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and backend developers to deliver scalable, responsive, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop responsive user interfaces using ServiceNow Service Portal and UI Builder.
- Develop and customize Service Portal widgets, pages, themes, and components.
- Build modern user experiences using Employee Center and Next Experience.
- Develop reusable front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
- Integrate front-end components with ServiceNow server-side APIs, Script Includes, and REST APIs.
- Customize forms, catalogs, portals, and dashboards to improve user experience.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate workflows and business logic.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsive design across browsers and devices.
- Troubleshoot UI issues and implement fixes with minimal business impact.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews,



and retrospectives.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with UX designers and business analysts to deliver intuitive and accessible user interfaces.

Required Skills

- 5–10 years of overall software development experience.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow Front-End Development.
- Hands-on experience with Service Portal development.
- Experience with UI Builder and Next Experience Framework.
- Strong knowledge of Employee Center customization.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
- Experience developing custom widgets and client scripts.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Glide APIs.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST/SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Studio, Update Sets, Source Control, and Application Repository.
- Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with Employee Center Pro.
