A production supervisor in the automobile manufacturing industry oversees daily shop floor operations, manages shift manpower, and meets production output targets. Core duties include enforcing quality control, driving lean manufacturing methods, and maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Shift Operations: Execute daily production schedules, monitor assembly or machine lines, and minimize operational downtime.
- Manpower Management: Allocate worker tasks, track shift attendance, and train team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality & Process Control: Verify parts meet engineering specifications, reduce defect rates, and apply continuous improvement frameworks like Kaizen and 5S.
- Safety & Compliance:



Enforce factory safety rules and support automotive quality audits (such as IATF/ISO standards).

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of shop floor experience in an auto component or vehicle assembly environment.
- Skills: Knowledge of lean manufacturing, blueprint reading, basic computer/ERP reporting, and solid floor leadership.

Pay: ₹18,006.87 - ₹62,350.81 per month
