VPMM College of Nursing, a constituent institution of VPMM Group of Institutions, is committed to excellence in nursing education, research, and healthcare leadership. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced qualified to lead the institution as Principal – Nursing College.

The Principal will be responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership to the Nursing College, ensuring high standards of nursing education, research, clinical training, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering academic excellence and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership for the academic and administrative functions of the Nursing College.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC), Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, academic quality assurance, and student outcomes.
- Lead faculty recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Promote research activities, publications, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Strengthen partnerships with hospitals and healthcare organizations for clinical training.




- Monitor institutional performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, innovation, and excellence in nursing education.

Qualifications

- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Nursing – Mandatory
- Qualification as per INC norms.
- Strong academic and administrative credentials.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of experience in nursing education.
- Extensive experience in academic administration, research, and leadership.
- Proven track record in institutional management and faculty development.
