Job Summary

HAIMS Ventures LLP is hiring a Laboratory Technician for our Dairy Farm at Gundlupete. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out laboratory testing, collecting and processing samples, maintaining laboratory records, and supporting the veterinary team in ensuring the health and productivity of livestock.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, label, and process blood, milk, fecal, and other laboratory samples.

- Perform routine laboratory tests as instructed by the Veterinarian.

- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and cleanliness.

- Record and maintain accurate laboratory reports and test results.

- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols.

- Assist veterinarians during sample collection and diagnostic procedures.

- Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals,



reagents, and consumables.

- Support disease monitoring and herd health management activities.

Qualification

- Diploma in Laboratory Technology / Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) / Veterinary Laboratory Technology.

- Candidates with experience in veterinary or dairy farm laboratories will be preferred. Relevant diploma qualifications are commonly accepted for similar laboratory roles.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling.

- Good documentation and reporting skills.

- Basic computer knowledge.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to work on a dairy farm.
