Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Planning Manager Electrical to manage planning, scheduling, and monitoring of electrical installations in large-scale EPC construction projects such as high-rise residential buildings, commercial complexes, malls, and multiplexes. The role requires strong expertise in project scheduling tools, resource planning, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

- Develop detailed project schedules based on work orders, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and SLD (Single Line Diagrams).
- Prepare baseline schedules and track progress against planned timelines.
- Use tools like Primavera P3, MS Project, and advanced Excel for planning and tracking.
- Identify critical paths and proactively mitigate delays.

2. Resource Planning

- Prepare and optimize manpower deployment plans as per project requirements.
- Estimate material requirements and create procurement schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

3. Billing & Cost Monitoring

- Develop and track billing schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Coordinate with site engineers and accounts teams for timely invoice processing.
- Monitor project costs and highlight deviations from budget.

4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

- Track daily/weekly progress of electrical works across multiple sites.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and Excel dashboards.
- Prepare site-wise MIS (Management Information System) reports for senior management.
- Conduct variance analysis between planned vs actual progress.

5. Coordination & Communication

- Collaborate with civil, structural,



and project management teams to align electrical activities with overall construction schedules.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide updates on progress and risks.
- Ensure smooth communication between site teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

6. Forecasting & Risk Management

- Forecast upcoming material, manpower, and equipment requirements.
- Identify potential risks and delays in advance and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure minimal disruption to project timelines through proactive planning.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelors Degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

- Proven experience in electrical installation planning for construction projects such as:
- High-rise residential buildings
- Commercial complexes
- Shopping malls
- Multiplexes
- Internal and Electrical Electrification works

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of:
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
- SLD (Single Line Diagrams)
- Electrical installation practices in construction
- Proficiency in:
- Primavera P3 / P6
- MS Project
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, dashboards, reporting)
- Understanding of billing processes and project cost tracking.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
