Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer (MEP) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry and be responsible for preparing electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation for various commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and institutional projects.

The candidate must have robust knowledge of MEP systems and be proficient in preparing electrical drawings using AutoCAD while coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare electrical designs and layouts for construction projects.

· Develop and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.

· Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), power layouts, lighting layouts, cable routing, panel schedules, and earthing layouts.

· Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and project teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.

· Review project specifications, BOQs, and electrical design requirements.

· Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards, codes, and project specifications.

· Prepare material quantity estimates and support the procurement team with technical requirements.

· Provide technical support to site teams during project execution.

· Review and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions as required.

· Assist in design coordination meetings with consultants and clients.

· Support project planning,



documentation, and technical submissions.

· Ensure timely completion of design deliverables while maintaining quality standards.

· Coordinate with site teams to resolve design-related issues during execution.

Required Skills

· Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry.

· Strong knowledge of MEP electrical systems.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

· Ability to prepare and interpret:

o Electrical layouts

o Lighting layouts

o Power layouts

o Single-Line Diagrams (SLD)

o Cable routing layouts

o Earthing and lightning protection layouts

o Panel schedules

· Good understanding of electrical design standards and construction practices.

· Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

· Good communication and documentation abilities.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Qualification

· B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP electrical design within the construction industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Experience in MEP design for commercial, healthcare, hospitality, institutional projects.

· Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction methodologies.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Excellent coordination skills with consultants, clients, and internal project teams.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
