Toram Creators is a knitwear manufacturer with production units at Tiruppur and Vadipatti. Our Vadipatti unit is an active factory floor with a diverse workforce — and we need the right person to keep it running smoothly from a people and compliance standpoint.

What This Role Is

This is a hands-on factory HR role. You will be on the floor as much as you are at your desk. You will know every worker by face, manage their records with accuracy, handle recruitment for floor-level positions, and ensure the unit stays fully compliant with labour laws.

What You Will Do

- Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory floor positions — sourcing, screening and onboarding workers and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate attendance, leave and overtime records for all factory staff.
- Ensure full statutory compliance — EPF, ESI, Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, minimum wages, and all applicable labour regulations.
- Manage all labour-related documentation: registers, notices, licences, inspection readiness.




- Handle day-to-day worker grievances on the floor — with firmness, fairness and discretion.
- Support payroll inputs — attendance data, deductions, overtime — for processing.
- Ensure the factory maintains ongoing readiness for social and ethical compliance audits — including SEDEX, WRAP and any buyer-mandated audits.

What We Are Looking For

- 3–6 years of HR experience in a factory or manufacturing environment — garments preferred, open to textiles, FMCG or similar.
- Solid working knowledge of labour laws, EPF, ESI, Factories Act and Contract Labour regulations.
- Comfortable on the factory floor.
- Someone with people sense: firm when needed, approachable always.
- Any graduation; MBA / MSW / PG in HR or Labour Welfare is an advantage.
- Willing to be based full time at Vadipatti, Madurai district.
