Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, and MRI.
- Analyze imaging results with precision to identify abnormalities, injuries, or disease patterns.
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely radiology reports for referring physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and hospital standards for imaging procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education (CME).
- Support the training and supervision of medical students, residents, and radiology technologists as needed.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD Radiology or DNB Radiology).
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, and MRI imaging modalities.
- Solid understanding of anatomical structures, pathology, and imaging protocols.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
- Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings clearly to clinicians and patients.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to clinical governance and safety standards.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment.
