We are hiring Design Engineers to support product development and tooling activities for our agriculture equipment division. The role involves CAD modelling, tool design, validation support, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Create CAD models, drawings, and assemblies
- Develop tool designs, fixtures, and fabrication support systems
- Support product and tooling development lifecycle
- Perform basic FEA and design validation
- Conduct risk assessments (DFMEA)
- Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals
- Prepare technical drawings, BOMs, and documentation
- Support prototype builds and testing
- Assist in tool build, commissioning,
and validation
- Work with manufacturing, suppliers, and global teams
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Mechanical Design / Automobile Engineering
- Experience in CAD tools
- Preferred: Solid Works
- Secondary: Solid Edge / any CAD tool
- Understanding of:
- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Manufacturing processes (machining, welding, fabrication)
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Basic FEA knowledge (e.g., Ansys)
- Exposure to tool design / fixtures
- Knowledge of hydraulics / mechanical systems
