Carry out the first level of troubleshooting on Windows OS and applications., Awareness of OS related securities, Responsible for Server Administration, Troubleshooting and resolving all hardware issues Plan preventive maintenance activities, DR/BCP activities., Installation and OS Support - Repair / Re-Installation or fresh Installation, Analyze system for failure and assist to restore files with help of operating system., Apply patches to the OS / applications or upgrade the applications as and when required, as per the approval from the respective Team Leaders., Administration of AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, RDS services, You will carry out administration, support and maintenance of AD., RAID Configuration knowledge, Print/File/IIS server knowledge., Extend technical support the Clients over email and phone, Knowledge of Microsoft clustering & Veritas Cluster,



Monitoring & Management of Backup & Restoration., Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtime's., Creation of Knowledge base, Knowledge in ITIL process for Incident, Change and Problem management., Work on the change request and new Installations.,Raise and also technically update the tickets in ticketing system for all the issues handled., Ensure that the tickets raised per shift are closed as per SLA and if not escalate as per the escalation Matrix defined.,Knowledge of Vulnerability, Hardening , Patching on Windows servers.
