Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct competitor product studies and teardown analysis to understand market positioning and design features
- Manufacturing Process Knowledge.
- Perform product and component cost estimation for Greenfield and Brownfield projects (Sales Price, Design to Cost, negotiation calculations, RPP)
- Execute technical studies on manufacturing processes, design features,
and material specifications
- Predict and document assembly techniques and sequences for product manufacturing
- Develop detailed product comparison reports and technical documentation
- Engage with suppliers and vendors to gather cost and capability information
- Apply holistic cost engineering methods and processes to optimize product economics
- Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities based on cost analysis
- Maintain knowledge of competitor tracking and market benchmarking trends
- Analyze product cost structures and provide insights for design optimization
Qualifications
BE in Mechanical/ Automotive/ Mechatronics Engineering
