Position: Process Engineer – NPI (Cables) Location : Kochi Qualification: Btech Mechanical Engineering Experience: 6–8 years Salary : As Per Industry Standard Key Requirements:
* Strong experience in cables, connectors, and cable harness assemblies
* Experience in Recent Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to production
* Knowledge of cable assembly processes: crimping, soldering, molding, overmolding
* Process development, validation, and continuous improvement
* Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, and root cause analysis
* Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs
* Experience working with manufacturing, quality, and design teams Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new cable products
- Support product launches and production ramp-up
- Improve quality, yield, and productivity
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive corrective actions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful NPI execution
