Job Description

The Team Lead – HRSS (US Benefits) will lead the execution, delivery, and optimization of comprehensive benefits administration for our US-based workforce. This role requires a hands-on leader to manage the employee benefits lifecycle, resolve complex escalations, partner with senior leadership on process optimization, and ensure operational excellence within our Workday platform.

Benefit Program Administration

- Manage 401(k) Plans: Execute hands-on administration of 401(k) plans including contributions, loans, and year-end compliance testin
- g. Oversee Health Accounts: Direct day-to-day operations for HSA, FSA, and associated spending accounts
- Coordinate Perks LOA: Manage benefits integration and premiums during Leaves of Absence (FMLA, disability)
- Process Vendor Invoices: Audit, reconcile, and approve monthly vendor invoices to ensure accurate premium payments

1. Annual Events & System Operations

- Drive Open Enrollment: Execute annual open enrollment periods, system configuration testing, communications, and final data transmissions
- Maintain Workday Ecosystem: Resolve integration errors, electronic data interchange (EDI) files, and system bugs in the Workday Benefits module.

1. Inquiry, Escalation, & Stakeholder Management

- Resolve Complex Escalations: Act as the highest tier of internal support for complex employee benefits inquiries and critical ticket escalations
- Manage US Stakeholders: Serve as the trusted operational partner for US HR business partners, brokers, and external vendors.
- Lead Communication: Deliver empathetic, clear,



and high-impact verbal and written communication to US employees and partners.

1. Strategic Thinking & Process Optimization

- Partner with Leadership: Work closely with HR leadership to align daily HRSS activities with broader corporate benefits strategies
- Optimize Workflows: Apply strategic thinking to proactively identify process bottlenecks, drive automation, and continuously eliminate operational friction.
- Track Metrics: Use data and service metrics to recommend continuous improvements to leadership

Required Qualifications

1. Experience & Domain Expertise

- US Market Focus: 6 + years of dedicated experience in HR Shared Services supporting US clients and workforces
- Benefits Deep Dive: Proven, hands-on experience running US open enrollments, HSA administration, 401(k) plans and other Benefits.

1. Technical & Strategic skills :

- Workday Mastery: Must have advanced, hands-on experience executing processes within the Workday Benefits module.
- Strategic Capability: Demonstrated ability to look beyond daily ticketing to design better workflows and present solutions to leadership.
- Data Proficiency: Strong analytical capabilities using Microsoft Excel for complex data reconciliation, metric reporting, and invoice auditing.

Domain Expertise:

- US Benefits: 401(k) retirement plans, HSA, FSA, and open enrollments
- Leave Management: US Benefits Leave of Absence (LOA) and FMLA tracking
- Financial Operations: Vendor invoice reconciliation, auditing, and premium billing.

Compliance: US federal and state benefits regulations.
