Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, experience building production-grade applications, and a solid understanding of software engineering best practices.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is a plus.

The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and backend services.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Debug and resolve production issues while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Design and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and frontend developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Technical Skills

- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong understanding of REST API design and development.




- Valuable knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest, etc.).
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Good to Have

- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Watch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with cloud-native application development on AWS.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications and APIs.
- Basic exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI application development is an added advantage.
