Job Summary:
A Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapist assesses, treats, and rehabilitates patients with cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. The role involves improving patients' functional capacity, breathing efficiency, exercise tolerance, and quality of life through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients with cardiac and pulmonary disorders using standardized evaluation methods.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide chest physiotherapy, airway clearance techniques, breathing exercises, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
- Conduct cardiac rehabilitation for patients following myocardial infarction, angioplasty, CABG, valve surgery, or heart failure.
- Monitor vital signs (heart rate,



blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate) during treatment.
- Manage ICU and post-operative patients, including early mobilization and respiratory care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on breathing techniques, energy conservation, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
