Job Summary

District 6 Pub Brewery & Kitchen is looking for an experienced South Indian Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in authentic South Indian cuisine, menu planning, food costing, kitchen management, and team leadership while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all South Indian kitchen operations.
- Develop and standardize authentic South Indian recipes and menus.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Control food cost, wastage, and inventory.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (FSSAI/HACCP).
- Coordinate with procurement for quality ingredients.
- Plan seasonal menus and introduce new dishes.
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and safety standards.

Requirements





- 8–15 years of experience in South Indian cuisine.
- Minimum 3–5 years as Executive Chef or Head Chef.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern South Indian dishes.
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or premium dining establishments.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of food costing and kitchen operations.
