About the Company: Trivandrum based Medical centre with Pharmacy, Lab and Scans

Overview:

A part-time ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) in a multi-service medical center acts as a vital bridge between patients and different departments. They primarily manage patient flow, assist doctors in the OPD, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with the pharmacy, lab, and scan facilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

Core Clinical & OPD Duties

- Vitals & Triage: Measure and record patient vitals (Blood Pressure, Pulse, Temperature, SpO₂, weight) upon arrival.
- Doctor Assistance: Prepare examination rooms and assist consultants during minor procedures and physical exams.
- Medication: Administer prescribed medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed by the medical officer.
- First Aid: Provide immediate first aid and wound dressings for urgent care walk-ins.

Inter-Departmental Coordination

- Laboratory: Assist patients to the sample collection area, help organize samples, and ensure reports are delivered to the consulting doctor. [1]




- Scans & Imaging: Guide patients to the scan / X-ray rooms, assist in positioning (if required), and ensure patient prep instructions (e.g., fasting for ultrasound) are followed.
- Pharmacy: Direct discharged patients or those with prescriptions to the pharmacy counter and assist elderly or immobile patients with securing their prescribed medicines.

Administrative & Patient Support

- Patient Flow Management: Organize patient queues, manage tokens, and escort patients to consultation or treatment rooms.
- Records Management: Update patient electronic health records (EHR) and maintain registers for daily treatments and procedures.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, sterile, and hygienic clinic workplace in compliance with infection control protocols

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
