Position SummaryThe Shift Incharge (Molding) leads the production floor operations during their assigned shift. The primary objective is to maximize machine efficiency, minimize downtime and scrap, and ensure all plastic molded products strictly meet quality specifications while strictly adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Shift Operations

- Execute Production Plans: Implement daily shift schedules in coordination with the Production Planning and Control (PPC) team.
- Machine Optimization: Monitor setup and performance of molding machines to optimize cycle times, output, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Process Control: Hands-on monitoring of process parameters (temperatures, pressures, injection speed) and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, molding defects (e.g., flash, short shots, warpage), and quality issues promptly.
- Shift Handover: Ensure seamless communication and detailed documentation during shift handovers to the incoming team.

2. Quality & Compliance

- Defect Control:



Monitor rejection trends and enforce [Quality Control] policies to maintain product standards.
- Process Audits: Conduct regular part inspections and process audits to ensure compliance with product drawings and ISO standards. [1, 2, 3]

3. Team Leadership & Manpower Management

- Staff Allocation: Allocate manpower efficiently across the shop floor based on skill levels and production requirements.
- Training: Train and guide operators, setters, and helpers on operating procedures, tooling, and safety protocols.
- Discipline: Manage attendance, performance, and operational discipline on the floor.

4. Safety & Housekeeping

- 5S & Housekeeping: Sustain and drive 5S methodology, cleanliness, and protected working conditions within the molding area.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and report/address hazards immediately.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
