1. AGM – EHV Line Development

Job Purpose

The EHV Line Development Manager will oversee the end-to-end planning, engineering, route optimization, statutory approvals, and execution of Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines and pooling substations (PSS). This role is critical for connecting large-scale generation projects (such as wind and solar farms) to the central grid network.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning & Route Optimization: Identify, survey, and finalize optimal route alignments for EHV transmission lines, minimizing right-of-way (RoW) obstacles and environmental impact.
- Engineering & Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams to review tower designs, conductor configurations, sag-tension calculations, and substation integration plans.
- Statutory Approvals & Compliance: Secure all necessary statutory clearances, including forest clearances, highway/railway/river crossings, aviation clearances, and approvals from state utilities or CEA (Central Electricity Authority).
- Right-of-Way (RoW) Management: Lead negotiations and resolve land-owner disputes, crop/tree compensation issues, and local community grievances along the transmission route.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Oversee EPC contractors, turn-key vendors, and survey agencies. Monitor progress,

quality of workmanship, and adherence to safety standards.
- Grid Connectivity Coordination: Liaison closely with State Transmission Utilities (STUs), Power Grid Corporation (PGCIL), and Load Despatch Centres to ensure seamless charging and commissioning of lines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timeline Adherence: Delivery of EHV lines and PSS within the project's scheduled commercial operation date (COD).
- RoW Resolution Cost: Managing compensation and land clearances within the allocated budget.
- Compliance Score: Zero penalties or work-stoppages due to regulatory or safety non-compliance.
- Line Efficiency: Ensuring execution meets technical parameters to minimize transmission losses during commissioning.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 15 to 20 years of core experience in EHV transmission line execution (typically 132kV, 230kV, 400kV, or above).
- Industry Preference: Power Transmission, Renewable Energy (Wind/Solar IPPs), or major Power EPC companies.

Pay: From ₹75,000.00 per month

Perks:

- Provident Fund

Work Location: On the road
