Senior Mechanical Trainer – NX CAD/CAM & Mastercam

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Trainer with solid expertise in Siemens NX CAD/CAM and Mastercam. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, mentoring students, developing industry-oriented projects, and providing practical exposure to CNC programming and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on industrial design experience and excellent teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and practical training in Siemens NX CAD/CAM and Mastercam.
- Teach 2D drafting, 3D modeling, assembly design, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Train students in CNC machining, CAM programming, toolpath generation, and post-processing.
- Conduct live industrial projects and case studies.
- Guide students in GD&T;, machining processes, and manufacturing standards.
- Develop course materials, assignments, and assessment tests.
- Mentor students for internships, projects, and placement interviews.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD/CAM technologies and manufacturing trends.
- Coordinate with industry partners for project-based learning.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and student performance reports.
- Support curriculum development and continuous improvement.




- Ensure laboratory equipment and software are properly maintained.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Siemens NX CAD, NX CAM, and Mastercam.
- Experience in CNC Milling, Turning, and machining strategies.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of tooling, fixtures, and production methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to handle live industrial projects and practical sessions.

Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in Siemens NX or Mastercam is an added advantage.
- 3–8+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, CAD/CAM, CNC Programming, or Technical Training.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in product design and manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines and production environments.
- Knowledge of additional software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or ANSYS is an added advantage.
