Job Description

- Primarily be responsible in independently identifying functional, electrical and mechanical verification scenarios
- Identify off the shelf verification setups &/ develop verification environments for both R&D; needs and production purposes
- Coordinate with the production test team for smooth transfer of production test methodology
- Product "type test" management system including maintaining reports, schedules, procedure is another responsibility.
- Close coordination with test organizations like CPRI, ERDA and SAMEER, etc

Key Skills

- Sound knowledge of functional verification techniques
- Sound knowledge of power protection relaying techniques
- Sound knowledge of IEC/ BIS / IEEE standards applicable to the area of power systems protection and management
- Sound knowledge in handling test and measuring equipment

Highly Desirable Skills

- Sound knowledge of power systems applications is highly desirable.




- Sound knowledge of programming using C and scripting languages and working with 8/ 16 bit microprocessor boards
- Ability to build test jigs for test suite automation
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Positive skills in handling documentation
- Familiar in use of version control management system
