The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the complete tendering and estimation process for design & build commercial interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong expertise in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and bid management to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant submissions.

Key Responsibilities Tendering & Estimation

- Manage end-to-end tendering activities for design & build commercial interior projects.
- Prepare detailed BOQs from architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.

Costing & Commercials

- Prepare detailed cost estimates including civil, finishes, joinery, furniture, and MEP works.
- Float RFQs, obtain vendor/subcontractor quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
- Analyze costs, margins, and risks to finalize competitive pricing.

Design & Coordination

- Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and project teams during pre-tender stage.
- Assist in value engineering and alternate material proposals.
- Ensure alignment between design intent and commercial feasibility.

Bid Submission & Compliance

- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids as per client and consultant requirements.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, manage clarifications,



and respond to tender queries.
- Ensure all bids are submitted accurately and within deadlines.

Post-Tender Support

- Support negotiations, scope clarifications, and contract finalization.
- Prepare tender handover documents for execution teams.
- Maintain tender logs, cost databases, and bid success reports.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Solid expertise in BOQ preparation and estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret interior, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Good understanding of design & build contracts.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, estimation tools, and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and commercially aware.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
- 6–15 years of experience in tendering & estimation for commercial interior fit-out (Design & Build) projects.
- Experience in corporate offices, retail, and hospitality projects preferred.
