We are seeking a qualified and driven Special Educator to join our team in Kolkata. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about capacity building, training, and content development within the inclusive education ecosystem.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will work closely with the internal psychology and program teams and will not be directly engaged in one-on-one interaction with Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

The primary focus of this role is to enhance program effectiveness by designing and delivering training sessions for Special Educators (SEs), while also contributing to the development of high-quality training content and learning resources. A strong conceptual and practical understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) is essential, as the candidate will play a key role in guiding educators on structured and effective IEP development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and facilitate training sessions (online and in-person, if required) for Special Educators (SEs)
- Develop comprehensive training modules, manuals, and resource materials
- Collaborate with psychology and program teams for content creation and refinement
- Provide academic and technical guidance to SEs on IEP development and implementation
- Review and ensure the quality and effectiveness of IEPs developed in the field
- Continuously improve training approaches, content,



and delivery methodologies
- Support internal documentation, reporting, and knowledge management processes
- Utilize digital platforms for training delivery, coordination, and progress tracking

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (RCI certification preferred)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in training, content development, or special education
- Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and intervention frameworks
- Prior experience in conducting training sessions or workshops is preferred
- Familiarity with tools like PRASHAST is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Comfortable working in a hybrid/tech-enabled environment

Requirements

- Must have a laptop and stable internet connectivity
- Strong writing and content development capabilities
- Ability to independently manage training sessions, coordination, and reporting
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented approach

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
