About the Role

Karmick Institute is seeking a passionate and result-oriented Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right career-oriented courses and help them achieve their professional goals. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong counseling abilities, and a proven track record in admissions or educational counseling.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, career opportunities, and training programs.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a seamless admission process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate guidance.




- Good knowledge of admissions and counseling processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Target-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Academic Counseling, Education Counseling, Admission Counseling, EdTech Sales, or Student Advisory roles.
- Experience in the Education, Training, or EdTech industry will be preferred.
