Candidate Profile:

- 3-8 years (or plus) of experience in Structural Design with University Master degree from Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering.
- Knowledge in advanced structural Engineering design experience with multi-level structures.
- Experience from concept development and design through to project documentation.
- Experience with building codes including US Codes, IBC ASCE, ACI and Malaysia Code of Practices.
- Experience using precast systems for high rise developments.
- Advanced experience with structural design and drafting software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, Revit, MS Office and AutoCAD
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines is essential
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary:

- Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering principles, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
- Focus on design of all types of building structures.
- Develop building structural systems, both gravity and lateral.




- Manage major and minor design projects from beginning to end.
- Preparation and checking of design drawings and/or specifications.
- Development of project design criteria, design calculations, construction details.
- Plans and conducts work requiring engineering judgment. Independently develop and review the engineering drawings and guide the drafting team in producing high quality error free drawings.
- Proactively assist the team in documenting and standardization of the quality procedures. Maintain the knowledge base of the team activities.
- Enhances engineering & organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing current and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Exhibit initiative while working on projects.
- Be responsible for leading, motivating and developing the team.
