JOB DESCRIPTION – Design Engineer

Reporting To: Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

To develop fabrication drawings, material specifications, and production documents by interpreting client requirements and standards, ensuring practical manufacturability, quality, and timely support to shop-floor operations.

1. Prepare detailed design drawings and manufacturing specifications for components and assemblies.

2. Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, machining feasibility, material selection, GD&T;(Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing ) compliance, and adherence to design standards.

3. Demonstrate expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modelling, sheet metal design, design-for-manufacturing, GD&T;, and reverse engineering.

4. Create and evaluate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for parts and assemblies with high precision.

5. Utilize AutoCAD for GA (General Arrangement)



layouts and layout management as per customer requirements.

6. Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute both as a leader and as a supportive team member.

7. Execute assigned project tasks within defined timeframes and ensure timely deliverables.

8. Read, understand, and interpret customer technical specifications and incorporate them into design solutions.

9. Manage multiple project priorities efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy in work.

Pay: ₹11,121.02 - ₹46,151.34 per month
