Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Department and ensure the smooth functioning of all plant machinery and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team, planning preventive and predictive maintenance activities, minimizing machine downtime, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:-

Lead and manage the Maintenance Department, including Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.

Plan, schedule, and monitor Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance activities.

Ensure timely maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation of plant machinery and equipment.

Maintain optimum machine availability while minimizing downtime.

Supervise maintenance of:-

Induction Melting Furnaces

Extrusion Presses

Lathe Machines

Cutting Machines

Draw Benches

Swaging Machines

Bright Annealing Furnaces

Other production and utility equipment

Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.

Coordinate maintenance shutdowns, equipment removals, repairs, modifications, and project-related maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company maintenance procedures.

Maintain maintenance records, machine history, spare parts inventory, and service schedules.

Coordinate with Production, Quality,



and Purchase departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced equipment reliability.

Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of the maintenance team.

Required Qualifications:-

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Relevant certifications in maintenance management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

8–15 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, metal processing, extrusion, or engineering industries.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Required Skills:-

Robust knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Knowledge of maintenance planning, spare parts management, and equipment reliability.

Leadership and team management abilities.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS preferred).
