Technical Sales Executive In Aluminum Extrusion industry to drive B2B revenue growth by identifying client requirements, translating engineering drawings into extrusion-feasible profile designs, providing accurate costing estimates, and managing long-term technical customer relationships across sectors like solar racking, architecture, automotive, and industrial engineering.

Technical & Engineering Support

- Drawing & Design Review: Interpret client 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings to assess manufacturability against press capacities, circle size, wall thickness, and alloy behaviour.
- DFM (Design for Manufacturability): Recommend profile adjustments (e.g., radius modifications, wall-thickness optimization) to improve press speeds, reduce die wear, and cut material costs for the client.
- Alloy & Temper Selection: Guide clients on selecting the appropriate alloy (e.g., 6063 for surface finish/anodizing vs. 6061/6005A for structural strength) and tempers (T4, T5, T6).
- Defect Troubleshooting:



Collaborate with internal die shop correctors and QA teams to analyse defects (e.g., surface lines, twist, bow, grain structure issues) and handle customer claims.

Commercial & Sales Management

- Costing & Quoting: Calculate price estimates based on billet metal costs (LME/MVI indices), conversion costs, die charges, fabrication (CNC/punching), and surface treatment (anodizing/powder coating).
- Business Development: Identify target B2B sectors (solar mounting structures, facade systems, heat sinks, busbars, automotive components).
- Account & Pipeline Management: Track sales leads, maintain RFQs (Request for Quotes), manage orders in the ERP system, and ensure payment recovery per commercial terms.
