As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. Throughout the day, the engineer balances coding, testing, and refining software elements while actively participating in discussions to align technical solutions with organizational goals.

Description: Establishes the future-state business processes and solutions within their functional area. Responsible for design requirements, process design and validation against design requirements as the solution is built, tested and deployed. Build consistency and commonality across business, jurisdictions and functions, advise on desirability of design changes, and communicate design decisions. Works with functional leadership at each business to explain the future-state solution and ensure it meets each business needs. Builds alignment with leadership toward a common global standard solution and business processes. Drives continuous improvement in the new global solutions and identifies opportunities to capture business value.



Participates in process design sessions and obtains business, jurisdictions and functions input and requirements. Works within process teams and also cross-process teams to make the majority of design decisions. Promotes sustainment and governance of the global solution to maximize standard adoption across businesses/jurisdictions.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Strong experience in customizing and configuring SAP Plant Maintenance modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP PM with other enterprise systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within SAP Plant Maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies to support iterative development and continuous improvement.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
