Overview:

The Smallworld Technical Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end Smallworld project delivery while managing a team of 5–10 members with diverse technical skill sets. This role requires strong expertise in Smallworld Suite products, Magik development, technical leadership, and project coordination across the complete SDLC lifecycle.

Responsibilities:





- Lead and manage Smallworld development, enhancement, and delivery activities across projects.

- Take complete ownership of assigned projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and timely delivery.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to development teams.
- Lead technical planning activities, testing, release management, and deployment support.
- Mentor team members on Magik development, coding standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and manage project requirements.
- Support development and delivery using Smallworld 5, PNI/BM/PRA or EO, DM, GSA, FME, Magik, and Java technologies.
- Participate in data migration and Smallworld system upgrade activities to Smallworld 5.
- Prepare and maintain functional and technical project documentation.
- Utilize Git for source code management and version control practices.
- Work within Agile development and project management methodologies.
- Provide problem-solving support and ensure high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of overall experience in Smallworld development and technical leadership.





- Solid architectural understanding of Smallworld 5.
- Experience managing and leading teams of 5–10 members.
- Good understanding of complete SDLC processes, including requirement gathering and documentation.
- Hands-on expertise in EO or GDO or PNI, DM, CASE Tool, Data Model, Database and System Administration, GSA, FME, Magik, and Java programming.
- Experience working on at least one end-to-end Smallworld implementation project.
- Strong experience in data migration and Smallworld upgrade projects.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with Git-based source code management practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and technical leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
