Role description
Role Purpose: Specialists in a particular sphere of technology. Support adoption and implementation of newer technology through their valuable technical knowledge or practical experience Key Accountabilities: Expertise in Material Science/ LAN Cable/Fiber Optic Cable/Connectivity B.Tech/M.Tech with 8-12 years experience Preferred Experience and Qualification:

Support translation of customer pain points and expectations into technical requirements and prepares plans to address them appropriately

Work with the sales and pre-sales team to showcase the organizational capabilities in technology

Provide recommendations/ suggestions to seamlessly deliver application engineering solutions in Sterlite Tech to increase effectiveness and efficiency of solutions

Support the Technology Unit Head to visualize and implement current technology

Identify and report technical roadblocks in implementation or adoption

Stays abreast of the latest technological advances in his own field/sphere and initiates plans to implement the same at Sterlite

Responsible for propagating a culture of good manufacturing practices, driving values of Sterlite along with continuous improvement

Responsible for mentoring and coaching the reporting staff and other employees

10-15 years of pre-sales,



design and implementation in Data Center networking, Server, Cloud

- Understanding and solutioning of Server & Storage Solutions

- Design, understanding, dimensioning of Private and Public Cloud (Redhat/VmWare/ AWS / Azure / GCP),

- Cloud Consulting, Cloud Migration, Cloud Design/Dimensioning, Cloud Deployment and Integration

- Multi Vendor exposure

- Understanding Enterprises Management Systems (EMS/NMS) and tools.

- Knowledge of IP/MPLS, Enterprise Networking, Campus networks, SD WAN preferred

- Functional Experience in Access Points, Wireless LAN Controller (WLC), WAG etc.

- Industry Certification: CCIE preferred, CCNP/Equivalent is must in DC network domain
