Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (HVAC) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, automation, and commissioning of HVAC electrical and control systems for industrial and commercial projects. This role involves end-to-end project execution from design development through site installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and instrumentation schematics for HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, condensers, and pumps
- Perform electrical load calculations and prepare power loading lists
- Select appropriate electrical components, instruments, and control devices
- Develop and program PLC-based automation systems (Siemens S7-400 or similar), including redundancy systems
- Prepare and review Cause & Effect diagrams, control philosophies, and I/O lists
- Develop and execute FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) procedures
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery
- Review and resolve BIM clashes in coordination with other disciplines
- Assist during installation, testing, commissioning,



and handover
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project specifications
- Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance during project execution

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical and instrumentation drawings
- Solid understanding of HVAC control systems
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, Modbus communication, and industrial control protocols
- Experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens platforms
- Familiarity with BMS integration and HVAC automation
- Ability to read and coordinate MEP and BIM models
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience handling technical discussions and negotiations

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in HVAC electrical & control systems
- Certifications in PLC programming, BMS, or MEP design are an advantage
- Proven ability to manage projects independently from design to commissioning
- Experience in engineering consultancy or EPC firms handling building, logistics, cargo, or industrial projects is preferred.
