## Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **Infrastructure Architect** to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in **Linux administration, Kubernetes, virtualization, networking, storage, security, and cloud platforms**, with a proven track record of architecting highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, establish architecture standards, mentor engineering teams, and ensure operational excellence across enterprise platforms.

## Key Responsibilities

### Infrastructure Architecture & Design

* Design scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise infrastructure architectures.

* Develop infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and best practices.

* Architect compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and security solutions.

* Design High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity solutions.

* Evaluate infrastructure technologies and recommend modernization strategies.

### Systems Engineering

* Lead enterprise Linux platform deployments and administration.

* Design and optimize web/application servers, middleware, databases, storage, and caching platforms.

* Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

* Support hybrid and cloud-native infrastructure initiatives.

### Kubernetes & Container Platforms

* Design and implement enterprise Kubernetes platforms.

* Define best practices for container orchestration, deployment, scalability, and security.





* Integrate Kubernetes environments with enterprise monitoring, logging, networking, and security services.

* Support Docker-based containerized application deployments.

### Performance Engineering

* Conduct infrastructure assessments, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

* Troubleshoot complex infrastructure bottlenecks across servers, databases, storage, and networking.

* Perform OS tuning, database optimization, and application performance improvements.

* Establish infrastructure performance baselines and operational KPIs.

### Security & Governance

* Implement infrastructure hardening, access control, network security, and compliance standards.

* Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and security assessments.

* Ensure infrastructure aligns with enterprise governance and operational policies.

### Technical Leadership

* Provide architectural guidance to infrastructure and engineering teams.

* Review technical designs and implementation plans.

* Mentor engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

* Drive infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives.

## Required Skills & Experience

* 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.

* Strong expertise in **Linux Administration**, including:

* Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

* Rocky Linux

* Ubuntu

* CentOS

* Hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure components:

* Compute Platforms

* Storage Technologies

* Networking





* Security Infrastructure

* Virtualization Platforms

* Solid expertise in **Kubernetes** and container orchestration.

* Experience with **Docker** and containerized application platforms.

* Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts including:

* TCP/IP

* DNS

* Routing

* VPN

* Firewalls

* Load Balancing

* Experience designing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.

* Strong expertise in infrastructure performance tuning and root cause analysis.

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with enterprise infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.

## Educational Qualification

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
