Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced VMC Incharge – CAD/CAM Programmer responsible for managing VMC machining operations, CNC programming, process planning, and ensuring production targets are achieved with high quality and efficiency. The candidate should have strong knowledge in CAD/CAM programming, tooling, machining processes, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for overall VMC machine operations and production activities.
- Develop and modify CNC programs for VMC machines using CAD/CAM software.
- Create efficient machining strategies, tool paths, and process plans.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining requirements.
- Perform setup, prove-out, and optimization of CNC programs.
- Select suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Ensure production output meets quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Reduce cycle time by improving machining processes and programming methods.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tools, programs, and machine operations.
- Coordinate with Quality, Design, and Production teams for process improvements.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and rejection control.
- Maintain proper documentation of CNC programs and process records.
- Guide and train operators for safe and efficient machine operation.




- Ensure preventive maintenance and proper handling of machines.

Technical Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge in VMC machining operations.
- Hands-on experience in CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers preferred).
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as:
- Mastercam / NX CAM / CATIA CAM / Creo / SolidCAM (any relevant experience)
- Valuable understanding of:
- 2D & 3D machining
- Milling operations
- Tool selection and cutting parameters
- Fixture planning
- Production machining processes
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 3 years to 10+ years of experience in VMC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
- Experience in handling multiple VMC machines and production teams preferred.
- Experience in precision machining / component manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full Time

Reporting To: Production Manager / Manufacturing Head

Salary: As per experience and company standards.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
