Job Opening: AutoCAD Draughtsman (Building Construction)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the building construction industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing accurate technical drawings, quantity checking, and coordinating with project teams. Only Kochi-based candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit is an added advantage).
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings, design concepts, and project specifications.
- Prepare layout drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, design modifications, and project requirements.
- Perform quantity checking and quantity take-off from construction drawings.
- Assist in material estimation and project planning.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, site supervisors,



and contractors for drawing updates and execution.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all project drawings.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in the Building Construction Industry (Mandatory).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an added advantage).
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical detailing, and drafting standards.
- Experience in quantity checking/take-off from drawings.
- Knowledge of building construction methods and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
