Job Summary

The Apprentice – Electrical Maintenance will assist the maintenance team in the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The candidate will gain practical exposure to industrial electrical maintenance while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machines.
- Support electricians and maintenance engineers in troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Inspect electrical panels, motors, cables, switches, and control circuits.
- Assist in carrying out routine checks of machine wiring and electrical connections.
- Learn and follow electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Record maintenance activities and report observations to supervisors.




- Maintain housekeeping around electrical equipment and work areas.
- Support installation of recent equipment and electrical components as directed.
- Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory for electrical maintenance activities.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental policies.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits.
- Understanding of industrial electrical components such as motors, contactors, relays, and switches.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and diagrams.
- Good learning attitude and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Eligibility Criteria

- ITI Electrician / ITI Electrical completed from a recognized institute.
- Fresher candidates are eligible.
