URGENT HIRING – Fire Protection (FPS) / Fire Detection & Alarm System (FDAS) Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Protection (FPS) / Fire Detection & Alarm System (FDAS) Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing fire protection and fire alarm systems for commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and prepare Fire Protection System (FPS) and Fire Detection & Alarm System (FDAS) layouts as per NFPA, NBC, IS, and local authority standards.
- Develop firefighting system designs including hydrant, sprinkler, hose reel, clean agent, foam, and water mist systems.
- Prepare fire alarm system layouts, device zoning, cause & effect matrix, riser diagrams, and equipment schedules.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing for firefighting networks.
- Prepare design reports, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing teams for multidisciplinary project integration.
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and vendor documents.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and client discussions.




- Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and international standards.
- Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and design modifications.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of NFPA Codes, NBC, IS Standards, and Fire Safety Regulations.
- Experience in FPS and FDAS system design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is preferred.
- Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and firefighting system design software.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, specifications, and technical reports.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Safety, or related Engineering discipline.
- Relevant certifications in Fire Protection Engineering will be an added advantage.
- Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, hospital, industrial, airport, metro, or infrastructure projects preferred.
