Position: Proposal Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Analysis & Vendor Interaction

- Thoroughly analyze tender/RFP documents to extract instructions, technical specifications, and commercial requirements
- Initiate and manage vendor enquiries to obtain clarifications and quotations
- Compile, evaluate, and consolidate vendor responses into structured proposal inputs
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial alignment

2. Proposal Development

- Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals
- Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities), budgetary estimates, and Business Execution Plans (BEP)
- Prepare compliance matrices in line with tender specifications
- Perform cost estimations including materials, labor, overheads, and contingencies for CAPEX and OPEX Optimisation including Life Cycle Cost on EPC / HAM / PPP mode.
- Ensure all proposal documentation complies with tender norms and submission requirements

3. Meetings & Presentations

- Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings and clarification discussions
- Represent the company during client interactions and technical discussions
- Present proposals effectively to management, decision-makers, and client representatives

4. Tender Compliance & Administration

- Manage pre- and post-tender compliance activities
- Handle contractual clarifications and regulatory documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely tender submissions as per prescribed guidelines
- Maintain documentation and approval workflows throughout the tendering process

5. Project Design & Drawing

- Develop project-specific process and engineering designs
- Prepare and review GADs (General Arrangement Drawings) and technical drawings




- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations

6. Handover & Coordination

- Facilitate smooth handover of awarded projects to execution teams
- Coordinate documentation transfer and project initiation activities
- Support internal teams during project transition and execution stages

Technical Skills & Requirements

Technical Competencies

- Suitable Experience in Water / Waste Water technologies for Industrial OR municipal applications .
- Knowledge of environmental technologies and water/wastewater treatment systems
- Understanding of tendering procedures and e-bidding platforms
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and cost estimation methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with visualization tools and engineering drawing software
- Comfortable working with operating systems, web platforms, and online tender portals
- Ability to prepare and interpret GADs and technical drawings
- Experience in preparing compliance matrices and Business Execution Plans (BEP)

- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- Versatile and willing to travel as and when required for Site audit ( Pre-bidding ) and Customer discussion .

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Environmental / Electrical or related discipline)
- Relevant experience in proposal engineering/tendering within water, wastewater sectors and Civil design / Calculations is preferred .
- Experience handling government tenders and techno-commercial proposals will be an added advantage .

Pay: From ₹800,000.00 per year
