Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Continental Commis 1 to join our Hot Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in preparing continental cuisine, maintaining high food quality standards, and supporting the kitchen in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The candidate should be organized, passionate about cooking, and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook continental hot dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure food is prepared and served with consistent quality and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the hot kitchen.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, stocks, and mise en place for service.




- Monitor inventory levels and minimize food waste.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Support team members during busy service periods.

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience as a Commis 1 or in a similar hot kitchen role.
- Knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
