- Key Responsibilities
- Qlik Environment Administration
- Install configure and upgrade Qlik Sense QlikView environments
- Manage servers nodes and clusters in Qlik environments
- Perform system setup patching and version upgrades
- User Security Management
- Configure user access roles and permissions
- Implement Section Access data level security
- Integrate Qlik with authentication systems AD LDAP SSO
- Application Deployment
- Publish and manage Qlik applications and dashboards
- Promote apps between environments Dev QA Prod
- Maintain application lifecycle and version control
- Performance Capacity Management
- Monitor system performance memory usage and CPU
- Optimize Qlik apps and server configurations
- Manage load balancing and scalability
- Monitoring Troubleshooting
- Monitor Qlik services using
- QMC Qlik Management Console
- Logs and monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot issues related to
- Application performance
- Reload failures
- User access problems
- Data Connections Integration
- Configure connections to
- Databases SQL Server Oracle etc
- Data warehouses Snowflake Redshift etc
- APIs and external data sources
- Manage data reload schedules and dependencies
- Backup Disaster Recovery
- Implement backup and recovery strategies for Qlik environments
- Ensure data integrity and high availability
- Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures
- Automation Scheduling
- Manage task scheduling and reloads in Qlik
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting PowerShell batch scripts
- Integrate with scheduling tools if needed
