Role Overview

The Dean – School of Law will provide strategic and academic leadership for the law school, ensuring curricular rigor, BCI compliance, research quality, and solid industry-legal community connect.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead curriculum design, academic administration, and program delivery for LLB, LLM, and other law programs.
- Ensure full compliance with Bar Council of India (BCI) regulations, UGC norms, and Anna University requirements.
- Build moot court, legal aid clinic, and legal research programs to strengthen practical legal training.
- Drive research output, journal publications, and faculty development initiatives.
- Establish ties with law firms, courts, legal departments, and corporate legal teams for internships and placements.




- Oversee student mentoring, admission process, and performance monitoring.

Eligibility

- PhD (Law) from a reputed university; LLM is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in legal academics, teaching, research, or legal practice with academic involvement.
- Strong understanding of BCI norms, legal education standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent command of English written and spoken.

Key Conditions

- Candidates from West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and North-East states will not be considered.
- Minimum 3-year written commitment mandatory.
