Roles and Responsibilities of a Site Supervisor (Interior Fit-Out)1. Site Supervision

- Supervise daily interior fit-out activities such as:
- Gypsum partitions and ceilings
- Flooring (tiles, vinyl, wood, carpet)
- Painting and wallpaper
- Joinery and carpentry
- Glass and aluminum works
- MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor workforce productivity and allocate tasks effectively.

2. Planning and Coordination

- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare daily work schedules and monitor progress against the project timeline.
- Plan material requirements and ensure timely delivery to the site.
- Coordinate sequencing of trades to avoid delays and rework.

3. Quality Control

- Inspect completed work for compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure finishes meet client and consultant expectations.
- Identify defects and oversee corrective actions.
- Maintain quality inspection records.

4. Health, Safety, and Workplace (HSE)

- Enforce site safety rules and company HSE policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

5. Material Management

- Verify delivered materials against purchase orders and specifications.
- Monitor material usage to minimize waste.
- Maintain records of stock, consumption, and shortages.




- Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage.

6. Workforce Management

- Supervise skilled and unskilled labor.
- Monitor attendance and productivity.
- Provide technical guidance to workers.
- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts.

7. Drawing and Documentation

- Interpret architectural and interior fit-out drawings.
- Ensure only the latest approved drawings are used on site.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress reports, and manpower records.
- Assist in preparing snag lists and completion reports.

8. Client and Consultant Coordination

- Attend site meetings with consultants and clients.
- Address comments from inspections.
- Ensure requested changes are implemented correctly after approval.

9. Progress Monitoring

- Track project milestones.
- Identify delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly progress to management.

10. Handover Activities

- Conduct internal inspections before client inspections.
- Prepare snag and punch lists.
- Ensure all defects are rectified.
- Support final handover and close-out documentation.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of interior fit-out construction methods and finishing works.
- Ability to read architectural, MEP, and shop drawings.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
