Application for the post of "Mechanical Design Engineer "

We are Interpower Induction Pvt Ltd. part of Interpower Group - a USA based multinational induction heating equipment manufacturer. We manufacture and service induction heating equipment all over India as well as countries in Asia and Europe. We manufacture custom, large scale, electro-mechanical capital equipment. These machines are primarily electrical equipment consisting of converter and high frequency inverters connected with an RLC load. We expertise in building equipment’s from 5 KW up to 10,000 Kw and with output frequency as higher as 300 kHz.

We are looking for an ideal candidate for “Design Engineer” post at Ahmedabad plant.

Skill Set

- Should have experience of min. 2 years in designing heavy material handling systems like Hydraulic pushers, conveyors, etc.
- Fluent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic and automation design.
- Must have minimum of 3 years of experience with 3 D modelling software like solid works, Inventor, etc.
- Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD is a huge plus.




- Experience in working with ERP system for BOM creation and editing.

Desired Characteristics

- Strong written/oral communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to take initiative, and work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work with a wide with a wide variety of personnel at all levels inside and outside of the facility
- Should be able to work overtime when necessary to meet operational objectives
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to fabrication and manufacturing facilities.
