- Equipment Maintenance: Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on pharma-specific production and utility machinery to minimize plant downtime.
- Installation & Alignment: Assemble, fit, align, and calibrate mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, pipelines, valves, and mixers) based on strict technical blueprints and drawings.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all fitting and mechanical work complies with GMP, plant safety rules, and hygiene standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical faults, identify leaks in piping systems, and implement effective, lasting repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily maintenance records, repair logs, and technical documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute)
certification in the Fitter trade or an equivalent diploma in mechanical/mechatronics engineering.
- Experience: Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Core Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, reading technical layouts, understanding pneumatics, and strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
