About the Role
Vandanam Organization is seeking an MD Ayurveda (Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga) to lead research and curriculum development for the Guru Vandanam project.
This role is suitable for professionals who enjoy conducting research, developing educational content, and collaborating with experts to create a structured Garbha Sanskar curriculum based on authentic Ayurvedic knowledge and relevant contemporary research.
The selected volunteer will work closely with the core project team to develop research-backed educational resources for parents, educators, and facilitators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research related to Garbha Sanskar, maternal health, and prenatal development from an Ayurvedic perspective.
- Study and interpret classical Ayurvedic literature, including Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya, Kashyapa Samhita, and other relevant texts.
- Conduct literature reviews and document research findings.
- Develop curriculum, learning modules, facilitator guides, and educational resources.
- Review and validate research content prepared by the project team.
- Collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts from Ayurveda, medicine, psychology, education, nutrition, neuroscience, and related disciplines.
- Participate in online meetings and research discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support the continuous improvement of curriculum content.
Required Qualifications
- MD (Ayurveda) in Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga.
- Strong understanding of Garbha Sanskar and maternal healthcare.
- Ability to conduct independent academic research.
- Excellent writing and documentation skills.
- Positive communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with one or more of the following will be preferred:
- Experience in Garbha Sanskar programs or research.
- Teaching or academic experience.
- Curriculum development experience.
- Research publications or academic writing experience.
- Clinical experience in maternal or prenatal healthcare.
- Ability to read or interpret Sanskrit references.
