Fragrance Formulation Executive

About the Role:

Katyayani Organics is looking for an experienced Fragrance Formulation Executive with expertise in developing and manufacturing fragrance formulations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating unique fragrances using aroma chemicals, essential oils, and fragrance bases while ensuring product quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and formulate fragrances for personal care, home care, detergents, air fresheners, incense, and other applications.
- Create current fragrance profiles by blending aroma chemicals, essential oils, and natural extracts.
- Modify and improve existing formulations based on customer and market requirements.
- Scale up formulations from lab to commercial production.
- Supervise production activities and ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with IFRA standards and maintain formulation and batch records.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, and Procurement teams for smooth manufacturing operations.




- Candidate who has machine knowledge and vendor knowledge as well.

Qualifications:

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Perfumery or Fragrance Technology is an added advantage.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience in fragrance creation and formulation.
- Strong knowledge of aroma chemicals, essential oils, fragrance notes, and blending techniques.
- Understanding of IFRA standards, fragrance stability, and quality control.
- Strong sensory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

- 6–10 years of experience in fragrance formulation, perfumery, cosmetics, essential oils, flavors & fragrances, or chemical manufacturing.
- Experience in developing fragrance formulations from concept to commercial production is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
