To plan, manage, and optimize the inbound and outbound logistics of raw materials and finished products (SLES, LABSA, AOS), ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Distribution

* Plan and manage dispatch of finished goods (tankers, drums, IBCs) as per customer orders and delivery schedules.

* Arrange transport, negotiate freight, and ensure on-time delivery.

* Coordinate loading, weighment, and documentation of outbound consignments.

Inbound & Raw Material Logistics

* Coordinate inbound movement of raw materials (LAB, fatty alcohol, sulphur, caustic, packing material).

* Plan vehicle placement, unloading, and material receipt in coordination with stores and production.

Documentation & Compliance

* Ensure statutory and transport compliance – e-way bills, invoices, LR, and hazardous-goods requirements (TREM card, MSDS) for chemical transport.

* Coordinate with customs / CHA for import and export shipments where applicable.

* Maintain records of dispatches, freight, and vehicle movement.

Inventory & Warehouse

* Coordinate warehouse operations, finished-goods storage, and stock accuracy.





* Optimize inventory holding and ensure availability of packing material.

Cost & Vendor Management

* Manage transporters and 3PL vendors; evaluate performance and rates.

* Drive logistics cost optimization and process improvement.

* Monitor logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, freight cost, turnaround time).

Qualification & Experience

* Education: Graduate / MBA in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations.

* Experience: 8–12 years in logistics, preferably in chemical / bulk-liquid / hazardous-goods movement.

* Certifications (preferred):

* Training in hazardous-goods handling and transport regulations.

Skills Required

* Knowledge of transport, freight, and hazardous-chemical logistics regulations.

* Experience in tanker / bulk-liquid and drum dispatch operations.

* Robust coordination, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

* Proficiency in ERP/SAP logistics modules and MS Office.

* Cost management and planning ability.
