Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing, stock management, and pharmacy operations in our paediatric and neonatology centre. The Pharmacist will ensure safe dispensing of medicines, maintain accurate records, and support clinical teams in medication management while complying with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities :

Medication Dispensing

- Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions issued by doctors
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing
- Provide appropriate instructions to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions

Inventory & Stock Management

- Maintain proper stock levels of medicines and consumables
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure removal of expired medicines
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records
- Coordinate medicine procurement and purchase orders

Pharmacy Operations

- Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
- Maintain Schedule H and other regulatory drug registers as required
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of pharmacy area

Documentation & Billing

- Maintain pharmacy billing records and documentation
- Ensure proper entry of medicines in hospital management system
- Maintain purchase bills,



stock registers, and drug registers

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Drugs and Cosmetics Act and pharmacy regulations
- Participate in pharmacy audits and stock verification
- Support quality and safety protocols related to medication management

Coordination with Clinical Teams

- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication requirements
- Support patient medication counseling when required
- Assist in emergency medication availability

Eligibility Criteria

Education

- B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution

Experience

- Minimum 1–2 years experience in hospital pharmacy or medical store preferred
- Freshers with strong knowledge may also apply

Skills Required

- Good knowledge of medicines and drug dispensing procedures
- Understanding of pharmacy regulations and documentation
- Basic computer knowledge for billing and inventory systems
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork ability
